Yesterday the article "I wish to chat with some iskcon devotees online" was posted on dandavats.com. It's a short message:

Shrinivas: hi, my name is shri. i am a 30 yr old working man in australia, sprititually inclined but you can say not fully motivated as yet. I wish to chat with some iskcon devotees online and make some friends. would you know of some chat site on which i can do that. i would be very thankful if you can guide me with this.

have a nice day,
yours sincerely,
shri.

I don't know if devotees who actively preach on IRC channels (Skype or whatever) are reading this group's posts; if yes, I don't think it would be difficult to find Shrinivas online. In any case, I'll post a comment to his message on dandavats, inviting him to this group.

I'm adding a field "IRC identities" to namahatta.org's user profiles. Registered users can use that to share one or more online-identities, which can be listed on this group-page. If anyone is interested in a more organized exchange of internet contacts and preaching details, I would be happy to set up some online-structure for that purpose.

Considering my experience trying to get readers to actually do something at namahatta.org, i.e., contribute stories, offer comments and opinions, or use any 'interactive' features, I'll wait until somebody tells me (comment or email) that they actually are interested before I do anything ...

your servant, phani.

“Here in this world there are thousands of newspapers and magazines reporting the stale, repetitious happenings of this limited space. So for reporting the news of the unlimited spiritual realm, concerning the eternal, ever-fresh Supreme Personality of Godhead, we could publish a newspaper at every second, what to speak of daily.”
